 A few days ago, I opened a bank account in India postpayments bank (IPPB), a digital banking service of India post. My purpose for that account was savings from monthly income. I chose IPPB because I had a post office in my vicinity and IPPB is offering digital services like other banks too. I got the account opened by biometric verification at the post office. I deposited rupees 100 as an initial deposit amount by cash at the counter. then , I registered on the android application of IPPB by entering the small print provided along side the digital passbook to me. I got the satisfaction that I can transfer money from my SBI account to IPPB at the comfort of my office or home. But....that wasn't proved to be so simple, because it appeared to me. I had to form tons of effort.

When I got my salary, i assumed of adding an IPPB account as a beneficiary through online SBI. I didn't know the IFSC for IPPB account, so i attempted adding by location. Surprisingly, just one location was provided to feature , that was Delhi and branch name "service center". I didn't get any idea so I added them intimately . Once I got approval from the bank that beneficiary has been added successfully and activated for transfer, i attempted transferring money thereto account.
